Yoshi is surprised by the presence of this shoelace that he has dragged onto the bed.
So this weekend involved a lot of yard work. There was some further clearing around the front of the lawn, but mostly we got at the front of the house, which has previously been an intractable jungle, full of bears and insects the size of bears.
So now the bugs have to be around leopard size to hide in the chaos and foliage, which is a huge improvement.
We rewarded ourselves with classily-presented snacks.

Here are some pictures from the inner Southeast taken last Sunday.
Here are some pictures I took while doing Temboo work under a tree in the yard.
I was out for a brisk constitutional on Friday when I saw these guys lounging in the sun. I liked how they were sort of pretending to not know each other.
For some reason Yoshi decided to lurk behind my monitor and look incredibly serious.
Here is Yoshi giving me advice on who I should select as kitty commissioner.

Here is Yoshi in his new favorite sleeping place.
Here’s what I had for dinner last night. I basically looked around on the counters and chopped up everything that was about to go off and threw it at some olive oil. It was fantastic.
