To mix it up, I thought I'd reverse it by having the dark around the edges rather than in the middle. The keyboard is actually better for carpal tunnel because you don't have to rotate your palms down. Also, it's easier on my shoulders because I can place the segments further apart than a regular keyboard will accommodate.
