So inasmuch as we are living in the future, we can all agree that youtube search results essentially constitute objective reality. As a demonstration of how degraded our culture has become I was going to embed the first result of a youtube search for “the killer.” I assumed I would have some horrible video from the band The Killers that I could use to demonstrate what a bunch of talentless hacks they were. Well, apparently The Killers aren’t just a horrible band, but they are a horrible band whose fans assume that their own closed community will sustain their own favorite horrible band. I’m sorry you read that, I have a headache too. Serious!
